Barker College is a private Pre-K to 12 school on Sydney’s North Shore. I redesigned their prospectus pack in early 2015. The pack is comprised of the prospectus, application form, fee statement and other brochures e.g. Prep, Scholarship, depending on the prospective student. We also included a die-cut brochure as a gift.
Prospectus
The prospectus itself is 28 pages. It goes through the different schools at Barker, (Prep, Junior School, Middle School and Senior School). Hidden throughout the pages is the word ‘inspire’ which is take from the School’s Mission Statement of “inspiring each learner, every experience every day”.
The word inspire was also worked into the different headings and sections of the prospectus. Throughout the pages of the prospectus and quotes from students about some of the different experiences they have had while at the school. These ranged from overseas tours to school camps and sporting representations. These quotes were added to pages which relate to their specific experience.
Registration Form
The registration form is attached with a single staple to the inside back cover of the prospectus. This reduces labour when mailing a large volume of packs and it keeps the pack together nicely until the form needs to be removed and mailed back. The form is clear and easy to fill out and follow. At the start of the document is an illustrated step-by-step guide to the enrolment process.
